Exercise 2: Ideation (Aiza Naili 0138894)

Concept: Concept Product 1: Product 1: Coco Loco Product 2: Product 2: ReBloom Booth and logo: Reflection   Coming up with a concept was quite easy as The Jungle Book is an iconic book and movie that heavily relates to our NGO chosen. The hardest part for me was branching out the main ideas to make it more elaborate. As much as I am inspired by The Jungle Book, relating the storyline to fit WWF Malaysia’s views and goals while making sure it is coherent was difficult. To overcome this, I extensively researched about the book to pick out key moments and lessons, which I then adapted with a local twist to make the concept more relatable.   Next, I had to think about the two products that I wanted to sell. To relate it with the concept, I imagined the components in a jungle that could make good products to sell. Coconuts and flowers came to mind instantly so I started searching for ideas on how I could sell these. The products itself were easy to find but I had a bi...

To solve this problem, I decided to design meaningful products—a tote bag to reduce plastic use, and a notebook made from recycled paper. These ideas helped me combine creativity with purpose and express the importance of sustainability. Through this process, I learned that even small products can carry powerful messages. I realized that what we create can influence others and encourage better habits, such as living more sustainably. References List Hashchand. (2021, September 25). The logo had to clearly reflect both the concept and the product, so I explored different platforms for ideas. “Lu Lu Honey Lemon Juice,” was inspired by combining “Lululemon” and a healthy drink to attract attention. Through the mind map, I learned how honey and lemon benefit our health. “Bing Bing Boom” is based on bingfen, a traditional Chinese jelly dessert. Bingfen is light, refreshing, and perfect as an after-meal treat, especially since it’s rarely seen at campus events. Researching bingfen showed me how this dessert has been preserved for centuries. This mind map assignment taught me that eating and drinking healthily is important an...

1. CONCEPT IDEATION Booth  Concept Name: The Eco Guardian Zone Concept Inspiration: Inspired by the growing popularity of superhero films and the idea that "anyone can be a hero," this concept transforms every visitor into a Guardian of Nature. The campaign also draws creative influence from WWF-Malaysia’s successful youth engagement projects like Earth Hour and Charms for Change. Reason for Choosing This Concept: WWF-Malaysia is not just about conservation—it’s about empowering individuals to act. This concept mirrors their ideology by making youth feel directly involved as protectors of the planet. The emotional power of being called a “guardian” inspires action. Concept Impact: This concept strengthens WWF-Malaysia’s public connection by engaging young audiences through fun, emotional, and interactive ways. It simplifies the message of biodiversity protection and makes it part of the identity of every visitor. 2. PRODUCT INNOVATION ✅ Product 1: Adopt-a-Tree Kit Mindmap: Wh...

Personal Reflection From the ideation project, I learned how to combine WWF’s environmental goals with the trendy, appealing world of Chiikawa. I brainstormed ways to raise awareness about endangered animals and nature preservation in a fun, accessible way, expressing all these ideas through mindmapping. Chiikawa’s relatable and recognizable style was the main inspiration for designing the booth and product concept that could connect with the university's audiences as I have done many surveys or case studies of how famous Chiikawa is. Hoping this theme idea of mine could help bring a...
