Reflection

 

Coming up with a concept was quite easy as The Jungle Book is an iconic book and movie that heavily relates to our NGO chosen. The hardest part for me was branching out the main ideas to make it more elaborate. As much as I am inspired by The Jungle Book, relating the storyline to fit WWF Malaysia’s views and goals while making sure it is coherent was difficult. To overcome this, I extensively researched about the book to pick out key moments and lessons, which I then adapted with a local twist to make the concept more relatable.

 

Next, I had to think about the two products that I wanted to sell. To relate it with the concept, I imagined the components in a jungle that could make good products to sell. Coconuts and flowers came to mind instantly so I started searching for ideas on how I could sell these. The products itself were easy to find but I had a bit of trouble in the pricing and expenses department. The pricing and cost must be reasonable but also sustainable enough to make profit. To resolve the problem, I had to search and compare prices for everything to ensure the best pricing possible.
