Roles & Agenda:
Leader:
● 0138592 Vishal Knigel
Short reflection:
I support our team’s decision to focus on WWF-Malaysia because they are one of the few NGOs that consistently raise awareness about environmental sustainability on both national and global levels. Their mission to protect endangered species, conserve natural habitats, and reduce pollution aligns closely with the urgent need to care for our planet. I personally feel that environmental issues are often overlooked, and seeing how active WWF-Malaysia is in educating the public and influencing policies made me realize how much of an impact one organization can have. It’s not just about saving wildlife—it’s about securing a future where nature and people coexist in harmony
Game plan:
I plan to dive deeper into WWF-Malaysia’s educational programs and community outreach efforts. I want to understand how they engage with local communities, especially through school programs and youth activities. These initiatives interest me because they show how WWF is planting seeds of awareness in the younger generation. I will also look into specific conservation projects, such as their work with marine life and forest ecosystems, to see how these efforts contribute to long-term environmental change.
Secretary:
● 0138744 Alvyrna Lee
Short reflection:
I personally agreed on this NGO mainly because it is simillar to SPCA Selangor as they not only protect endangered species but also the forest and enviroments. I believe supporting their work can make a difference.
Game plan:
Brainstorm an ideation for the booth and products. Using anime or nostalgic shows for inspiration such as Ghilbi Studios to encourage and gather an audience under the pretense of a nostalgic theme.
Marketing & Promotional team:
● 0138895 Ng Jou Yee
Short reflection:
I agree with WWF’s mission because it protects nature, wildlife, and fights climate change, which I believe is important for our future.
Game plan:
I plan to prepare small eco-friendly gift packs that include reusable items like metal straws or tote bags. This aligns with WWF’s goal of sustainability. I’ll help set up the display and explain to visitors how these items reduce waste and help protect the environment. Proceeds will go to WWF Malaysia.
Visual & Factual Research Team:
● 0139022 Mohd Naziril
Short reflection:
I agree to pick WWF-Malaysia because their work addresses urgent environmental issues like deforestation, wildlife conservation and they work toward building a better place on this planet for wildlife. Working with them will surely benefit the planet in one way or another.
Game plan:
I plan to research more on their latest campaign and previous projects to find suitable concept for the booth that somewhat relates to WWF Malaysia. Next, I’ll start the ideation process on the product after deciding on a concept for the booth so our product innovation suits the concept. This is to make sure the booth and the product both work together in a way that communicates and reflect the mission of WWF Malaysia and can attract more people toward this NGO.
Treasure & Logistic:
● 0139153 Chin Weai Lin
Short reflection:
I chose WWF Malaysia because they are committed to protecting nature and biodiversity in Malaysia. Supporting WWF Malaysia means that I am supporting a healthier planet, a more sustainable lifestyle, and a better future for everyone.
Game plan:
For the ideation stage I think I do research to identify the message that our group wants to create. After that come with a concept that link with our WWF Malaysia.
NGO Contact Team:
● 0138894 Aiza Naili
Short reflection: I agree with choosing WWF Malaysia as they're best known for their work in trying to overcome environmental problems and help in reserving our forests. Without a clean and green earth, humans could face serious problems and I would hate to see mother earth become extinct. They've also done hundreds of campaigns which shows that they are committed to achieving their goal.
Game plan: I'm planning to research about the concept by looking through their collaborations and campaigns they have done in the past. Their collaboration to make Touch N Go wildlife charms that includes the Malayan tiger inspired me to find concepts that relate back to our own culture and local wildlife.
